Its been a busy week for me and History Day! I've been making plans for the state competition on April 4th and updating the website available at www.tennesseehistoryday.org. The district coordinators have been doing great work getting out and talking to teachers about History Day. Last week, I was fortunate to meet several new teachers at the Tennessee Educators' Technology Conference.

I wanted to update everyone today about a new resource that came to my attention. The Smithsonian Postal Museum has set up a section of their website devoted strictly to National History Day and this year's theme: The Individual in History: Actions and Legacies.
